Our engineers have designed a great starter kit that will help cover your business operations. The kit contains:

  • a GloriaFood POS Workstation 820 with Wi-Fi, low profile stand, peripheral expansion module, power supply, ethernet cable, USB-C cable, and Oracle Linux for MICROS
  • and the Verifone P400Plus countertop payment terminal with 3.5-inch touchscreen, privacy shield, and ethernet dongle.

You can purchase a maximum of 5 POS clients per location.

  • 1 POS Workstation = 1 POS client
  • 1 Castles Mobile Order and Pay device = 1/3 (one third) of a POS client

Therefore, you can purchase a maximum of:

Apart from the POS Workstation and the payment device, you can always purchase additional:

Restaurant owners should make sure they have a stable broadband internet connection in the location where the POS will be installed. This means that restaurants will either have a landline internet service (Cable or Fiber) or, in the case of mobile restaurants, a 4G modem. For a smooth running of the POS and connected devices, Internet speed should be at least 15 megabits per second (Mbps) for download and 5 Mbps for upload.
Depending on the number of devices they ordered, restaurant owners should ensure that there are enough power outlets for each of these. The devices that need a power outlet are: the POS Workstation, the POS Workstation with Guest Display, the kitchen printer, the receipt printer. Plan to avoid plugging POS devices into any outlet with appliances such as refrigerators, microwaves or blenders.
